Book of Kells Wading Bird Triskelion Kilt Pin
Inspired by the slender herons and pelicans of the 9th-century Book of Kells, the finest example of Insular art, this kilt pin features a sculpted wading bird pommel set above a prominent triskelion spiral medallion. The triskelion, an ancient Celtic symbol, represents the cycles of life and the interconnectedness of all things. An open-work braided Celtic blade completes the design. Cast in premium pewter with an antique silver finish. Made in our Glasgow workshop. 9cm long. A timeless tribute to early medieval manuscript art and Celtic symbolism.
