Thistle All In One Belt Buckle
The thistle, Scotland’s emblem of resilience and protection since the reign of James III, takes centre stage on this traditional kilt buckle. Framed within a circular medallion and enclosed by dual layers of intricate Celtic knotwork, with corner fan accents, this buckle is a masterwork of Highland design. Available in burnished antiqued silver-tone with oxidized shading over a pebbled background, or standard pewter finish. Made from solid 100% lead-free pewter, measuring 9.5cm by 7cm, and designed for standard wide kilt belts. Hand-cast in our Glasgow workshop. Fastens anti-clockwise, following Pipe Band traditions. A perfect finishing touch for formal Highland dress.
