Caledonia Saltire Belt Buckle

Inspired by the elaborate metalwork of the Victorian Highland revival, this buckle combines Scotland’s two most cherished symbols: the Saltire cross, framed by an ornate border of sweeping filigree and sculpted thistle motifs. The Saltire, Scotland’s national flag, is set against a finely textured basket-weave field. Available in antiqued silver-tone or standard pewter finish. Made from solid 100% lead-free pewter. Measuring 10.5 cm by 7.5 cm, it accommodates standard 2 ¼” kilt belts. Hand-cast and finished in our Glasgow workshop. A regal touch for formal Highland dress.

The Caledonia Saltire Belt Buckle combines Scotland’s national flag with an ornate border of scrolling detail and sculpted thistle motifs. A textured basket-weave field gives the central Saltire additional depth.

Hand-cast and finished in our Glasgow workshop, it is a substantial finishing piece for traditional Highland dress.
