Celtic Saltire Belt Buckle

The Saltire, Scotland’s national flag, originated in 832 AD, when a white cross appeared in the sky before King Oengus II’s victory over the English, taken as a sign from St Andrew. This kilt buckle celebrates that symbol, framed by intricate Celtic knotwork representing eternity and fate. Made from solid 100% lead-free pewter, measuring 10.5cm by 7.5cm, and designed for standard 2 ¼” kilt belts. Hand-cast in our Glasgow workshop. A powerful symbol of Scottish faith and nationhood.
