Welsh Dragon Belt Buckle
The red dragon, first mentioned in 829 AD as a symbol of victory and British identity, takes centre stage on this traditional belt buckle. In the legend of Dinas Emrys, Merlin revealed the red dragon’s triumph over the white, foretelling the victory of the Britons. Today, the dragon remains a defiant emblem of Welsh pride. Made from solid 100% lead-free pewter, measuring 10cm by 7cm, and designed for standard 2 ¼” kilt belts. Hand-cast in our Glasgow workshop. Fastens anti-clockwise, following Pipe Band traditions. A powerful symbol of Welsh heritage.
