This large 93mm ‘boss’ plaid brooch celebrates the saltire – Scotland’s national flag since at least the 9th century, surrounded by flowing Celtic waves. The domed design features a clan crest of your choice at the centre, chosen from over 240 authentic Highland, Lowland, and Borders crests based on the authoritative Scottish Clan and Family Encyclopaedia. Ideal for use with fly plaids or as a statement piece on a lady’s shawl, the brooch has a large brass pin on the reverse for secure fastening. Completely designed, mastered, cast, and finished in our Glasgow workshops from 100% lead‑free pewter. A bold statement of Scottish pride and craftsmanship.
