Clergy Burning Bush

Clergy, a lapel pin displays the Burning Bush from Exodus, with the Latin motto Nec Tamen Consumebatur (“Yet it was not consumed”). Though unofficial, this emblem has been widely used for the Church of Scotland since the 17th century, first appearing on the 1692 Scottish Metrical Psalter. Designed for clergymen and others associated with the Kirk, the pin measures 25mm wide and 35mm long (60mm including the pin). The burning bush symbolises the resilience of the Scottish Reformed tradition—tested but never destroyed. A discreet badge of faith and national identity, it connects wearers to centuries of Presbyterian heritage.
