A made-to-measure 4–5-yard box-pleat tartan kilt, crafted in Glasgow as an historic alternative to the modern knife-pleated style.
4-Yard Box-Pleat Kilt
Our made-to-measure box-pleat kilt revives the historic construction worn throughout the late eighteenth and nineteenth centuries. It uses approximately four to five yards of tartan, depending on the wearer’s measurements and the tartan sett, creating a lighter alternative to an eight-yard kilt while retaining authentic weight and shape.
